Akwa Ibom: Ibom Airline The First State Owned Airline To Launch With Blockchain Technology
Diutocoinnews reports that Akwa Ibom state is launching the first state owned airline with three modern aircraft. The fuel efficient CRJ900 series each of which can seat 78 to 90 passengers.

The aircrafts will be arriving Nigeria on or before christmas. The State governor has announced that the Ibom Air will lunch scheduled commercial passenger services before the end of 2018.
Akwa Ibom state government also expressed her interest in using Blockchain Technology to make her services more efficient. It’s currently the only state owned airport with a category 2 runway in Nigeria. The airport runway is capable of handling the biggest aircraft in the world. And currently a second runway is under construction.
