While the number of bitcoin addresses holding up to one Bitcoin (BTC) is increasing, only about 800,000 people currently own one bitcoin.

According to the glassnode data released on March 28, 797,420 wallets now have a balance equal to or more than a whole Bitcoin. The number has increased by 101 wallets in the past 24 hours.

This figure puts the number of bitcoin addresses holding at least a whole bitcoin at an all-time high.

Meanwhile, there is still possibilities that number of people with at least a whole bitcoin might not be equal to the addresses having at least one bitcoin because one or two users can have over one or two bitcoin wallets with separate addresses.

At the same time a user with at least one Bitcoin can still have an address having a lower balance which is not up to a whole bitcoin. This affects the total number of people with bitcoin account addresses having lower amounts of bitcoin.

The current increase in the number of people having at least a whole bitcoin suggests that many bitcoin investors are holding and buying more with the price crash that happened in March.

Meanwhile, its also common among bitcoin miners to store bitcoin in their bitcoin wallets due to the mining cost or selling price to BTC/USD value.

Also according to Glassnode, the number of bitcoin account addresses holding up to 0.1 plus bitcoin reached an All-Time-High of  2,939,010 million.
