Chipper Cash – A cross-border mobile payment processing app operating in Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Nigeria.
EcoCash – A top mobile app money transfer service provider available Zimbabwe allowing users to send RTGS to any other user with only their mobile phone number.
Airtel Money – A mobile payment wallet and mobile money payment service provider operating in Africa and also globally.
MTN Mobile Money – An app and USSD-based mobile money service particularly popular among crypto traders in Ghana, and available in several countries.
Coinbase Now Allows Users to Send And Receive Crypto Using Usernames.
Coinbase announced that it had added new features to its wallet allowing users to send cryptocurrency through usernames. This will make it easier for users to send and receive crypto without having to use the normal lengthy addresses.
Coinbase users can now send easily send and receive cryptocurrency to saved usernames or ones created on the Ethereum Name Service (ENS). Coinbase’s owned usernames look like @username while ENS names resemble URLs like coinbase.eth.
Nigeria is Not Ready to Issue Any Regulations on Cryptocurrency in the Nigeria Anytime Soon; Says Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Dr. Ibrahim Alley of the Research Department of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) has affirmed the situation during the Forum of the Finance Correspondents Association of Nigeria (FICAN) in Abuja.

He said that Nigerian regulators won’t allow Nigerians to invest in new financial space that they are do not understand. He also said that Nigerian Regulatory Authorities is yet to provide for this.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao records the richest cryptocurrency billionaire for the year 2020. CZ took over from the co-founder of crypto mining giant Bitmain in the latest Hurun Global Rich List.
The Hurun Global Rich List is an annual ranking of the world’s biggest billionaires published by Chinese media Hurun Report. According to the list, Binance’s Changpeng Zhao rose from $1.3 billion in 2019 to $2.6 billion in 2020.
