Google is looking to hire talented Africans that will help drive the growth of its newly built Product Centre in Africa.

Early this year, Google announced the development of its first product centre in Nairobi, Kenya.

According to Proshare Report; Google indicated that the new facility will create transformative products and services for African people and the rest of the world and plans to hire visionary engineers, product managers, UX designers and researchers to establish the groundwork for extraordinary growth.

The Nairobi Google Product Centre is looking to hire creative people who will assist in solving critical technical challenges, like improving the smartphone experience for people in Africa or creating reliable internet infrastructure.

Remember that Google opened an AI research centre in Accra, Ghana, in 2018 to drive useful innovations.

The Managing Director for Google in Africa, Nitin Gajria, said, “there are more than 300 million users of the internet in Africa who are young and mobile-first. We estimate that by 2030, African users would have increased to 800 million, which is a third of the world’s under-35 population.”
