This Indonesian college student gone viral on Twitter after he announced that he sold digital rights to his selfies for more than $1 million on opensea, a non-fungible tokens (NFTs) platform for minting and sale of NFTs.

Sultan Gustaf Al Ghozali, who is a computer science student at a university in the central city of Semarang, uploaded the photos on the NFT trading platform OpenSea under the title ‘Ghozali Everyday’.
Ghozali took pictures of himself sitting in front of his computer almost every day for the last five years. He took nearly 1,000 selfies and planned to create a timelapse video for his graduation day.
As Blockchain technology grew and became mainstream, the 22-year-old student thought of selling the pictures as NFTs, each for $3.
“I was thinking it might be funny if one of the collectors collected my face,” Ghozali told reporters at his university’s campus.
“I never thought anybody would want to buy the selfies, which is why I only priced them at $3,” he was quoted as saying by AFP.
Ghozali took to Twitter to say, “You can do anything like flipping or whatever but please don’t abuse my photos or my parents will very disappointed in me. I believe in you guys so please take care of my photos.”
In another tweet, he thanked the buyers of his selfies and added, “I don’t understand why you want to buy #NFT photos of me!”
