In a recent tweet, Kuda bank debunked claims that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) will shut down the bank reinstating the trust of its customers towards their services.

What Happened?

In previous days, rumors were circulating on the internet that the mobile-only bank will shut down. The rumor claims that the bank’s license will be taken back by CBN for defaulting and supporting fraud. Meanwhile, there was no report on that.

Early before now, scammers have been reportedly using the name of the bank to perpetrate illegal acts on Telegram. The bank before now warned that sure claims aren’t there and that Nigerians should be cautious.
