Suseong University in South Korea to Create a Blockchain And AI Campus

Suseong University in South Korea announced plans to create a Blockchain and AI Campus.

One of South Korea’s top universities, Suseong University has reached an agreement with the Korea Artificial Intelligence Association (KORAIA) to create a blockchain and AI campus in Daegu.

Suseong University finalized the deal on May 22 with the KORAIA to allow the institution launch a separate campus for Blockchain and AI Courses.

Following the announcement published by local media outlet Money Today, Suseong University will be establishing an ABC Department to train experts in AI, blockchain, big data, and cloud-based technology fields. 

The new campus Daegu-based campus will start operations fully by next year. Admission of new students will go live from 2021. 

According to the announcement, several Daegu-based blockchain companies have agreed to support the Campus by providing training and work experience programs within the campus.

Commenting on the new development Kun-woo, director of the Planning and Coordination Division of the university notes that the world is “rapidly” changing to a blockchain and AI-based society due to the global COVID-19 crisis.

Remember that the Africa Blockchain Institute (ABI) announced that it will open a new branch of its Blockchain school for blockchain education in Rwanda this year.

The ABI’s school is currently open in Ghana. The school focuses on covering courses on blockchain technologies and will be offering five courses in the school. 

The five courses include: blockchain essentials certification course, blockchain developers’ course, enterprise blockchain course, blockchain for lawyers and blockchain for impact.
