According to Youssef, the #BuildwithBitcoin initiative came through his childhood experience. Where he grew up in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen, where his parents settled as refugees from Egypt.
“That experience has stayed with me my entire life,” said Youssef “Schools are the core of civilisation.”
Paxful aims to use the #BuiltwithBitcoin initiate to bring education to over 15,000 young people throughout Africa and also provide teaching jobs to over 300 people around Africa.
“We saw the potential. Not just for Bitcoin but for human advancement,” said Youssef.
