Africa Blockchain Institute in partnership with Celo Labs and Upright has announced the opening of Celo Camp application for Africans.
In a statement by the Executive Director, Mr. Kayode Babarinde, he said;
“the collaboration was necessary as it align with the goal of the Institute, in raising more African Blockchain StartUps in providing lasting solutions to the economic challenges we face in Africa. This call allows us as Africans to further demonstrate our prowess on the Fourth Industrial Revolution in servicing the needs of Africans.”
Celo Camp is an independent initiative run by entrepreneurs passionate about the potential for global financial inclusion, mass adoption of digital money and acceleration of startups that will build this vision.

- Using Celo’s open-source tools to build mobile-first dApps and other financial services.
- The winning team will receive $10K, a flight to San Francisco and spend one month working with the Celo community.
- Mentorship and technical guidance from the Celo Community, and crypto experts at Andreessen Horowitz, Polychain, Winklevoss Capital and others.
- Participate remotely, and you can work on other projects at the same time.
