Bitcoin Pizza Day is celebrated every year on May 22, to mark the anniversary of the first-ever Bitcoin transaction for a physical item, which was two pizzas purchased for 10,000 BTC in 2010. Since then, Bitcoin has become the most valuable digital currency in the world, with a market capitalization of over $560 Billion.
On the 25th April this year, Crypto Bootcamp Community took to its social media handles to tease the public with an unexpected post about the event happening this year! The hotly anticipated announcement came at the right time as people started doubting the possibility of it happening this year. Ever since then, mails have been pouring in from other blockchain companies and tech brands for partnership.
