What is Symbiosis Finance?
Symbiosis Finance is a decentralized multi-chain liquidity protocol that enables users to perform any crypto token swaps across multiple blockchains with a single click. At present, the protocol supports 4 networks including BNB Chain (formerly BSC), Ethereum, Polygon, and Avalanche, with more networks to be expanded in the upcoming future.

The project has plans to launch the second version of its protocol — so-called Symbiosis v.2 — with an implemented sidechain, smart order routing, cross-chain farming, as well as unified AMM pools. Binance Labs saw the project as a major contributor to the crypto industry’s multi-chain future, which is why it was quite interested in supporting it and contributing to its creation itself.
Symbiosis aims at solving the twofold problem: liquidity fragmentation across different blockchain networks, and poor user experience while working with Defi and web3 economy. Symbiosis simplifies the time-consuming process of finding a suitable cross-chain bridge so you can get the tokens you need. With a single click, crypto enthusiasts can get token swaps done — regardless of the network they’re on.
The SIS token is used as a governance token of Symbiosis DAO and Treasury. On top of that, relayers network nodes have to stake SIS to participate in consensus and process swaps.

The front-end is a web interface or mobile application. It collects information about assets on the blockchains supported by the Symbiosis protocol, builds optimal routes for swaps (the routes with the best price), helps users to sign and send transactions to the blockchains.
2.The cross-chain liquidity engine is a set of smart contracts deployed on every blockchain supported by the Symbiosis protocol. It operates concentrated cross-chain liquidity pools and off-chain routing mechanisms, allowing to tap into AMM liquidity across all blockchains. 3.The relayers network is a P2P node network of decentralized custodians. The relayers listen to events emitted by the cross-chain liquidity engine on every supported blockchain, reach a consensus on each event, sign and send transactions to appropriate blockchains.
