Crypto Market Cap Slips Below $1 Trillion Mark, Nigeria Crypto Token QDX, BTC, BNB , Ethereum Prices Slides.

    The total market capitalization of the crypto space again slipped below the $1 trillion mark, with Bitcoin barely holding on to the $21,000 level while Ethereum dropped below the $1,500 level. Rising fears of economic slowdown continue to haunt the riskier assets.

    All the top crypto tokens were trading lower during the early hours on Tuesday. Quidax QDX slips over 4 per cent, whereas BTC and BNB falls by 5 per cent each. Ethereum and Solana dropped 6 per cent each at the time of this report.

    The global cryptocurrency market cap was trading lower at the $966.86 billion mark, dropping more than 4 per cent in the last 24 hours. However, the total cryptocurrency trading volume jumped close to 18 per cent to $75.16 billion.

    Bitcoin (BTC) and most major altcoins are witnessing profit-booking on July 25 as the bulls scale back their positions before the Federal Open Market Committee meeting on July 26 through July 27. This indicates that the sentiment remains fragile and that bulls are not confident about carrying long positions into the event.

    Several analysts have retained their bearish view after Bitcoin failed to sustain above the 200-week moving average at $22,780. CryptoQuant contributor Venturefounder expects the selling to resume and Bitcoin to fall as low as $14,000 before a macro bottom is confirmed.
