The ruling party of the Russian Federation. The United Russia Party has reportedly updated their website with e-voting functionality for the party’s election primaries.
The United Russia party will be using the e-voting functionality integrated with Blockchain Technology to foster transparency and fraud free elections primaries said Vyacheslav Sateyev. Vyacheslav Sateyev the head of IT department of the party also notes that:
“Candidates will be able to fill in their personal details on pages on this site, including posting news, videos, photos, distributing their pages. The personal account is now integrated with all social networks. We have also made an adaptive version of the site for mobile phones.”
He also noted that voters will have to verify their identity on the site with valid legal required documents to be able to vote.
It would be recalled that Last month. The City Council of Moscow had previously submitted a bill to integrate Blockchain Technology in the e-voting system of the country. The Moscow City of Duma, a local parliament of Russia Capital pledged to protect this process to enhance transparency, secure and fraud free elections in the upcoming elections.
